The annual Ditmar Awards recognise achievement in Australian science fiction (including fantasy and horror) and science fiction fandom. The Ditmars for 2022 were presented on October 1 at Conflux 16, the Australian National Science Fiction Convention, held in Canberra.
The awards are named in honour of Australian fan and artist Martin James Ditmar “Dick” Jenssen who financially supported the awards at their inception in 1969.

BEST FAN ARTIST – C.H. Pearce, for fanart on Instagram, including Em and Gyre, Lysande, Cruelty Free, and Rocket Launch Good.
WILLIAM ATHELING JR AWARD FOR CRITICISM OR REVIEW – Ian Mond, for reviews in Locus.
BEST ARTWORK – not awarded due to insufficient nominations
